A few weeks prior to her very public hospitalization, actress Demi Moore was seen consuming alarming amounts of the popular energy drink Red Bull-apparently her dependence on the carbonated drink is 10 years old!

Moore had cases and cases of Red Bull delivered to her home as early as 2002. TMZ reports "Sources connected with Red Bull North America tell us ... Demi was so dependent on the energy drink, the company used her to market the product."

The Red Bull company stated "the delivery schedule was frequent enough to ensure Demi was never without Red Bull." That's one caffeine addicted diva.

Caffeine is legal and when consumed in the appropriate doses, it can help people get through their day. The Sun published a story today reporting in the months before Demi was hospitalized she was using Red Bull in place of food. Combine starvation, excessive caffeine and nitrous-oxide and you've got a 911 call sure to make headlines.

Perhaps she was just trying to grow wings?
