It's no secret the Boston born and bred Donnie Wahlberg is a staunch New England Patriots fan, but the actor/singer may have been extra unhappy that the Denver Broncos wound up winning Super Bowl 50.

Not only did Wahlberg's team not make it to big game because they were defeated by the Broncos in the AFC Championship game, but their Quarterback, Peyton Manning, is the older brother of Eli Manning--the Quarterback of the New York Giants, who defeated the Patriots at the Super Bowl in both 2008 and 2012. And he has made no qualms about expressing the fact that he wasn't happy to see either Manning at the big game, let alone winning it.

While celebrating with his wife, Jenny McCarthy, during the 2016 Super Bowl Weekend, the actor said during an interview that he couldn't in good conscious root for the Broncos because of the Manning connection--even though his wife said she wouldn't mind seeing Peyton go out on top if he does choose to retire now.

also took to social media to continue expressing his feelings both before and during the game, sharing a photo of himself celebrating the Patriots win during Super Bowl 49, and commenting on the game while it happened Sunday night.

"#TBT one year ago. Me & my better half, celebrating another @patriots Super Bowl win the great Mr. Robert Kraft!" He captioned the photo.

As for the comments during the game? The actor referred to it as not being legitimate in a tweet announcing that it was also a day devoted to celebrating Jordan Knight, his NKOTB bandmate.

"Thank goodness we have something else to celebrate today, besides this dang illegit football game. #HappyJordanKnightDay #PatriotsBLI," he wrote.
