Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reportedly called off their wedding because of the singer's new work schedule but a source said the couple is heading toward a breakup.

A source told Us Weekly their busy work schedules put Cyrus and Hemsworth in a "rough path" and that the Hunger Games star is "not happy" his fiance is spending much time in the studio.

"Liam and Miley are done," the source said, adding that Hemsworth is having second thoughts about his wedding because of Cyrus constantly working.

"Miley put her career on hold to spend all her time with Liam. Now that she is back recording her fourth album, he's not happy. She says she's already over it," continued the source. "Work has put a stress on their relationship."

Only recently did Cyrus talk about her wedding and gush about the Marchesa gown she reportedly chose to wear for the ceremony. She said a dress by the brand is her No. 1 choice to wear for her wedding but now she is torn between gowns after being offered others from various designers.

"Marchesa make the most amazing dresses, they are definitely one of our options," she said. "But so many people want to be involved, I'll probably have 30 dresses at my wedding."

She noted about detailed for the wedding ceremony, "Liam is pretty laid back about everything, it's the best thing" and The Sun cited a source that said the couple was working with jeweler Neil Lane to create their wedding rings.

E! confirmed cheating rumors to be false following a sighting of Hemsworth and actress January Jones together at a party on Feb. 23. The two were seen at a Grey Goose pre-Oscars party at the Chateau Marmont where eyewitnesses said they kissed. They also were photographed leaving the party together in the same car.

A source said Hemsworth and Cyrus went to separate Oscar parties because Cyrus' mom wanted to go to Elton John's annual AIDS Foundation Oscar viewing party while he wanted to go to the Grey Goose bash, where Jones happened to be as well. So Cyrus partied with her mother that night. The source added about Cyrus and Hemsworth, "They are totally together."
