Shia LaBeouf wasn't going down without a Twitter fight.

Alec Baldwin and LaBeouf were set to co-star in a play titled Orphans, however, LaBeouf made headlines when he left the play in February for "creative differences."

LaBeouf tweeted today two emails he received from Orphans director Daniel Sullivan, that read, "Don't be too surprised if Alec doesn't look up from his script much for the first few day. I suspect he's not nearly as prepared as you are. Not unusual at all when actors have a good long rehearsal time like we have. I just don't want it to throw you. I did a reading of another play once with Alec and about 10 minutes in I thought, 'Oh, I guess he's just going to read it.'"

Baldwin unleashed his feelings on the 26-year-old's stage presence after LaBeouf left Orphans. Baldwin suggested that the Transformer's star wasn't made for theater, and compared him to a celebrity chef, wanting applause without putting in the work.

Baldwin told Vulture: "I can tell you that, in all honesty, I don't think he's in a good position to be giving interpretations of what the theater is and what the theater isn't. I mean, he was never in the theater."

Ben Foster will replace Shia LaBeouf in the play. Previews for Orphans were rescheduled for March 26 and the opening night will be held in the Schoenfeld Theatre on April 18.
