After two weeks of testimony, the child custody battle is over between former Dallas Cowboy Deion Saunders and his estranged wife Pilar Sanders.

A Texas jury ruled on Tuesday in favor of Deion and granted the NFL Hall of Famer the sole right to determine where his three children live. A 12-member jury voted 11-1 for Deion and deliberated for less than two hours before naming him the sole managing conservator for the couple's sons, Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, and joint managing conservator for daughter Shelomi. Deion has the right to make all educational, health and extracurricular decisions for his two sons.

"I'm thankful; I'm elated," Deion said before leaving the courthouse. "In any war, there will be casualties, but I didn't want the casualties in this case to be my kids."

The week-long custody trial consisted of a jury of seven women and five men who listened to testimonies of both parents' involvement with their children, as well as the forceful pressure the children endured when their parents were portrayed on a 2008 reality show Prime Time Love. The trial included allegations that Deion possessed guns that were accessible to his children, while the former football star's attorneys claimed Pilar worked for a phone sex line.

Pilar's lawyers, Friedman and Luke Gunnstaks, called witnesses' to the stand to prove the sports analyst neglected and embarrassed his children.

The aspiring actress and model was upset that the judge did not allow testimony about the April 2012 domestic dispute that landed her in jail. She said her estranged husband laughed on the witness stand and showed little respect for the court. Pilar accused Deion of trying to tarnish her name, using his Twitter account to ruin her reputation.

"To Mr. Sanders, life is a game and he has to win every time," Freidman said during his closing statement. "Winning is everything to him, even if the collateral damage is their kids."

Pilar lashed out at Deion following the court's decision, calling him a "black-faced performer" and a "Mr. Bojangles."

"If that's not one-sided, you have to be blind, dumb, crazy and stupid," Pilar said. "Unfortunately, my children will suffer, but I raised them well enough to understand what's what."

Deion took to his Twitter account to express his excitement over winning custody of his children.

"Thank all of you whom prayed for me and my children. The Truth is what it is. Never doubt God! Truth," he wrote on Wednesday.
