The game show Jeopardy made a joke about Taylor Swift's love life on their Wednesday episode with a clue that made a reference to her act of writing breakup songs after ex-boyfriends.
The 23-year-old was at the center of the "Who is Taylor Swift?" answer to a question that mocked her songwriting habit. The clue read "2009's Best Female Country Vocal went to her for 'White Horse,' where (shocker!) she goes off on an ex-boyfriend."
Swift or her reps have yet to comment on the Jeopardy diss but the songstress had no problem answering back to the hit she took at the Golden Globes in February. The award show's hosts, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, mocked Swift's love life by joking on stage that she should stay away from Michael J. Fox's son, who was at the awards ceremony helping celebrities on and off the stage. While discussing the topic with told Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales, Swift said that Katie Couric told her something that she will never forget.
"She said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women,' " Swift said.
Swift kicked off her Red U.S. tour Wednesday night with a performance in Omaha, Neb. The singer will play again in Omaha on Thursday. She performs in St. Louis on Monday, March 18, and her 66-show tour will continue on until Sept. 21, when she will have her final performance in her hometown of Nashville. She will stop in 47 cities in 29 states.
Her album Red was released in October of 2012. The official music video for the single 22 debuted Wednesday on Good Morning America.
