A slick new invention might solve the woes of iPhone and Android users who are coupled up and always face issues of looking for a charger for their device.

The LMcable comes with a 2-in-1 connector that works with the ports of both devices and has the input for a USB port at the other end, and can be used for both charging and data transfer purposes. It is being sold as a substitute to the USB Type-C which is also expected to hit the market soon. But the LMcable is also not available for purchase just yet, and is still accumulating funds via its kickstarter campaign. So if you think a gadget like this would be invaluable go ahead and help crowdfund the production of this innovation.

The expected date of release of this product is April, it is also available for pre-order online.

Gizmodo did a quick review of this new cable, giving it a thumbs up:

"Before USB Type-C replaces every charging cord you have to wrangle, the LMcable promises to play nice with both iOS and Android devices at the same time. Its brilliantly engineered connector supports Lightning ports, and microUSB ports, at the same time, without the need for adapters."
