Brandi Glanville: LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Need Children to Learn a 'Proper Boundary'
Real Housewives of Beverly Hill star Brandi Glanville said she hopes to put the feud with her ex-husband and his wife behind her, adding that they need a family of their own in order to understand her point of view.
Glanville told Buzz Feed now that her book about Eddie Cibrian's affair with LeAnn Rimes and its aftermath has become a bestseller, she wants to end the feud she has with them.
"I really want to put this public war with LeAnn and Eddie behind me, and I want to communicate with them privately if they'll have me," she said. "I think we both need to step away from it now. After the book [Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders] and everything. Put it behind us and move on."
The 40-year-old mother-of-two added that Rimes will understand her point of view once she becomes a mother herself: "Hopefully, they'll have a child of their own and she'll understand better what a proper boundary is for a stepmother and a mother."
Rimes and Cibrian began dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of their Lifetime television movie Northern Light. Both were married to other people at the time: Cibrian and Glanville already had two children together and Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet.
Glanville announced via Twitter in late February that she became a New York Times bestselling author. She tweeted, "Ok I'm crying! I'm a New York Times best selling author! I'm crying like a baby. Thank u thank u thank u!"
Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders highlights different moments from Glanville's marriage with Cibrian, his affair with Rimes and the aftermath. One story Glanville revealed in her memoir is the plastic "rejuvenation" surgery she got after she separated from Cibrian in August 2009 but which she made him pay for.
