A rep for Justin Bieber confirmed Monday that the pop singer was not kicked out of a Paris hotel like a journalist said he was, but that the 19-year-old left on his own will.

Bieber was staying at the Hotel Le Meurice in Paris and on his blog, journalist Jean-Marc Morandini stated that it was "a decision by the management of the luxury hotel because of his behavior in the establishment and because of the nuisance caused by the presence of fans around the building."

Bieber's rep, Melissa Victor, denied the claims and told E! News, "Justin was not kicked out of the hotel" and that the Beauty and a Beat singer decided to go to the Mandarin Oriental hotel because of security reasons: there were not enough personnel at Le Meurice to "control the crowds."

"There wasn't even an underground entrance for him at the other hotel and the security was too lax given the size of the crowds," Victor added.

The journalist's claims were further denied when a rep for Le Meurice said Bieber decided to leave the hotel on his own accord, clarifying, "It was his decision." The spokesperson for the hotel also stated that there was "no trouble with him. He had no attitude at all."

Addressing the claims of Le Meurice having inadequate security to deal with Bieber's fans, the spokesperson added, "We didn't have any problems. We are absolutely used to having celebrities. We had enough security. We know how to deal with crowds."

Bieber is currently in Paris for his Believe world tour. He tweeted recently all about the City of Lights and wrote on Monday "loving PARIS" followed later by "good night Paris. je t'aime."

Bieber performed in London earlier in March. During his hotel stay there, he had a confrontation with a photographer as they two exchanged curses and the singer tried to get physical before he was held back by his security team.
