It looks like Jessa Duggar is going to have a hard time convincing her fans that her husband is the real deal. In fact, Ben Seewald is getting both slammed and mocked by the couple's fans and critics today after he revealed his plans of wanting to becoming the world's first Christian hip-hop artist.

According to the Daily Mail on Thursday, Jessa's husband Ben has big plans to become a Christian rapper after hanging out with other ones as part of their inner-city ministry work.

Unfortunately, Ben is going to have to do a lot of work to not only convince his wife - who has never heard of hip-hop before - but the reality star's fans too that he has what it takes to become a breakout star in the music world.

During the latest episode of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," Ben even said after taking the mic for the first time, "I thought, all right, I'm just going to give it a shot.... and it didn't work out too well."

The clip showed him singing wildly out of tune, much to the despair of viewers who tuned in to watch the episode.

Some comments from fans though include, "I caught 10 minutes of this episode while channel surfing last night and it was PAINFUL. I doubt hip hop was the only thing the Duggar's were unfamiliar with..." along with, "Christian hip-hop is an oxymoron. It's not worship. It's entertainment. He would do better to learn to put a whole sentence together and man-up."

Another critic wrote, "Education is not for everyone and this family has an aversion to it, so why don't the adults go out and get jobs. They can then be productive members of society and not simply produce baby after baby on an over-crowded planet."

So far, the Duggars have not made any comments about the criticism.
