Could Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton be preparing for a baby?

According to a new report, The Voice couple isn't currently expecting, but they do have a promising future ahead of them.

On April 13, Hollywood Take claimed Stefani and Shelton were likely headed for an engagement after her divorce from former husband Gavin Rossdale was finalized earlier this week.

"Blake could propose to Gwen very soon," a source close to Shelton told Us Weekly on Wednesday. "Gwen is everything he wants... With Gwen, Blake has the family life he'd hoped to have with Miranda, [and Gwen's] kids love him as much as she does."

From her marriage to Rossdale, Stefani is mom to three boys, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, and the children have been seen frequently with Stefani and her man.

"Blake wants kids of his own," added the source. "And Gwen is willing to try!"

At 46-years-old, biology isn't exactly working in Stefani's favor, but when it comes to having a family of their own, she and Shelton are excited about the possibility. However, their busy schedules aren't going to make it easy on them when it comes to family planning.

Currently, both Stefani and Shelton are hard at work on the 10th season of The Voice, as well as promoting their new albums. Weeks ago, Stefani released her latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, which includes a number of Shelton-inspired tracks, and next month, Shelton will be releasing his 12th album, If I'm Honest.

As they attempt to juggle their busy careers with their relationship, a second source claimed Stefani and Shelton keep in touch via text message -- and a lot of them.

"Gwen texts Blake a million times a day," the source explained. "But he doesn't mind at all... Blake hasn't been this happy in years!"

Stefani and Shelton began dating at the end of last year and confirmed their relationship on Nov. 4 at an after party for the Country Music Awards.
