Gavin Rossdale reportedly took it easy on his former wife, Gwen Stefani, during a recent divorce hearing.

Although the Bush singer was legally entitled to request millions from Stefani due to her income being substantially more than his, he didn't do so and agreed to split custody of their three children.

"The singers have three sons together, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, and agreed to 50/50 joint custody," Hollywood Life explained on Thursday. "However, the site reports that Gavin will likely have the boys more than 50% of the time since his ex will be so busy with her anticipated touring schedule (she just released an album about the breakup and her new romance with Blake, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, on March 18)."

"Gavin is also reportedly not asking for child support, which he could since Gwen makes so much more," the site continued. "Considering he allegedly cheated on her with the family nanny, Mindy Mann, it seems like not asking for much is the least he could do!"

Rossdale and Stefani announced their divorce in August of last year after rumors of his affair with their former nanny. Months later, Stefani moved on with Blake Shelton, and in the months that have followed, Shelton has grown increasingly close to her boys.

“Blake is amazing with the kids. He’s such a big kid himself and loves doing all the same things as they do,” an insider told Hollywood Life in March. “One of his favorite things to do with them is go on hikes — they love Malibu Creek. They get out there in the mud, hunting for frogs or playing hide-and-seek. Blake loves any excuse to get outside and get dirty, so he’s a big hit with Gwen’s kids. It drives Gavin nuts that his kids have bonded with Blake. He hates that they’re spending so much time with him. He doesn’t have any say in it…and it’s killing him.”
