Is Ben Seewald trying to make a fashion statement or is he just being downright rude whenever he enters a house of worship for God? That's what Duggar fans can't help but wonder as Jessa Duggar's husband has been getting a lot of criticism for not only wearing a hat at church, but for never taking it off, either.

The couple's fans were especially curious after Jessa posted a new video of the couple enjoying a date night together on Friday. In the pic, Ben is wearing one of his signature baseball hats. Jessa captioned the post with, "Date with my man at the incredible @tacos4lifegrill! #ZikiLambTaco #TrendingTaco."

And while the food definitely looked good, fans were having a field day in the comments section over Ben's attire and accessories.

Some comments include, "It shouts a lack of respect when a man or boy leave their hats or cap to eat. Unless you are a game have respect and take off your hats," along with, "In the northeast you would never find any man in the wearing a hat in a restaurant or church - unless he's trash."

Yet, one fan managed to defend Ben and his hats by saying, "Wear your hat Ben wear it proud it's so cute and if that's the only thing u ppl can judge him on then he's doing pretty great!!"

Another person said, "Why does he have to take his hat off to eat a taco?! Really?!"

So far neither Jessa nor Ben have responded to the criticism.
