The cast of Vanderpump Rules may have just begun filming the series' upcoming fifth season.

Typically, the start of each season begins with the birthday party of Scheana Marie, and just days ago, she and her co-stars, including Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney, Rachael O'Brien and Stassi Schroeder, were seen celebrating her 31st birthday.

Months ago, Bravo confirmed Vanderpump Rules would be returning later this year for season five, but at the time, no production start date or premiere date was revealed.

"This year's bash may not have been as drama-filled, but it was just as epic, as [Scheana] partied with her Vanderpump Rules friends Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney at Centrale Fox Tower at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Connecticut," The Daily Dish reported on Monday. "And yes, it looks like everyone got along swimmingly. The ladies hit the spa and did some shopping before dancing the night away to a DJ set courtesy of Scheana's husband Mike Shay."

During an interview on the Inappropriate Earl Podcast series, via Fashion & Style, prior to Vanderpump Rules' season five renewal, Doute spoke of rejoining her co-stars for the new installment.

"We assume so," Doute said of the show's return. "We haven't gotten the official word yet, but this is the longest season we've ever had. They can't really tell us, 'No.' Our ratings are good. I mean, that would be a huge mistake [to cancel]."

She also weighed in on her thoughts about James Kennedy and Lala Kent's season four antics.

"I think there are certain new cast members that definitely put a little bit of a show on. I don't buy it, James [and] Lala," Doute said. "For myself and the core cast, we've been [real] since day one. Trust me, if I was trying to amp it up [for the show], that would not work in my benefit."

As for Schroeder's return, she confirmed she would be back during a recent episode of her own Podcast.

"If there is another season, and I am asked back, I absolutely will be back," Schroeder said, according to Fashion & Style.
