Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido parted ways during filming on Shahs of Sunset season five, and in a new interview, Shouhed's co-stars weighed in on the split.

According to a new report, both Reza Farahan and Mercedes Javid spoke of Shouhed and Parido's divorce, which came just months after their March 2015 wedding. 

"It is sad. It has been sad, but Mike also ignored a lot of the warning signs and he did a lot of things he shouldn't have done," Farahan told The Daily Dish last week. "But he wasn't aware and present, so he got caught up in it and then, obviously, he's suffering the ramifications of all that."

"Mike and Jessica's love was like this storybook romance and I am such a sucker for romance that when I saw what they were going through, I thought I took everything as real and authentic," Javid explained. "It did not occur to me at the time that Mike was going too fast and that he wasn't ready, but that's what it ended up being. Jessica wanted to be a wife... She wanted to fulfill the role of her dream to be a wife. After they got married, the dust settled and way too much reality set in and everything that she thought about what a marriage would be [was] too much of the glitter instead of the real [of] what marriage is. And Mike wasn't ready. I wish both of them nothing but the best. But now that she's living with another man and jumped from that lily pad to another. I started to think that maybe she's not quite as innocent as I thought."

Still, at the time, Javid claimed she and Parido were on good terms.

"We're on good terms because — this gonna sound so a sign of the times — I'm the only person that she hasn't un-followed," she explained. "She knows that I've been authentic with her. Jessica knows that I've been real with her, so hopefully she'll still be cool when she hears that I have another honest opinion about what happened 'cause she hid a lot. She hid a lot of things that she was really doing just playing keeping up with the Joneses."
