Blackberry has two new smartphones that hold their old in the tech market against competitors such as Apple and Samsung: the Q10 and Z10.

The Z10 just arrived on the market and the Q10 just about to.

The Z10 has its own BlackBerry 10 operating system in place of Android OS and the BlackBerry Q10 runs the same BB10 operating system, also with the physical keyboard as its predecessor. The Q10 offers an entire keyword while the Z10 is going for a more updated look of being completely touchscreen.

The Q10 is lighter but you can't really tell the different. It weighs 139 grams (4.90 oz) in comparison to the Z10 coming in at 138 grams (4.85 oz).  The Q10 is 4.71 x 2.63 x 0.41 inches . The Z10 is 5.12 x 2.58 x 0.35 inches

Resolution for the Z10 is slightly better, coming in at 768 x 1280 pixels and 356 ppi pixel density. The Q10 in comparison has 720 x 720 pixels and 330 ppis.

Their touchscreen and basic features are the same - light sensors, proximity sensor, capacitive - and both come with a 16G built-in storage.

Camera and camcorder dimensions and pixels are the same as well. The smartphones have a 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 1080p HD recorder, auto focus and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

For music player files, the Q10 supports only MP3 formats. The Z10 supports MP3, AAC, eAAC, FLAC, WMA, WAV, M4A (Apple lossless), AMR and OGG.

Blackberry Z10 debuted in late January and the device was available in the starting March 22. For price details from T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T, click here. The Blackberry Q10 will arrive on April 26, according to Tech Radar, and a SIM-free version of it will be around $800.
