Miranda Simms celebrated Memorial Day with her husband and their daughter, Remi, as well as Corey's twins, Ali and Aleeah.

And graciously, she shared a couple of photo from their festivities with her fans and followers on Twitter.

Days later, Corey shared a couple of photos of his own after going out on a fishing trip with his 6-year-old twins.

At the end of last month, Miranda was caught in the midst of controversy when Corey's daughter, Ali, accused her of forcing her to carry a heavy backpack to school. Shortly after, Miranda spoke out.

“I always try to carry Ali’s backpack for her,” Miranda explained to MTV News last week. “I would never try to do any harm to the children or create any kind of task that I know Ali cannot do... I’m not saying how she felt was wrong — her feelings are important. I just hope that we can move on, and I hope that the girls feel comfortable no matter where they are at one time.”

Corey also spoke out on his wife's behalf, revealing she's been in Ali's for years (they began dating in 2012) and is well aware of what she can and cannot do. 

“Miranda has been around the girls since they were two years old,” he added. “Miranda is aware of what Ali is capable of and what she’s not capable of doing. If Miranda would have felt that the backpack was too heavy, she would not have made her carry the backpack.”
