Angela Simmons went public with her pregnancy about a week ago and it didn’t take long for fans to point out her recent statement of her decision to stay a virgin until marriage.

Simmons stopped by The Breakfast Club back in January with Romeo Miller to promote their WeTV series Growing Up Hip Hop. The topic of Simmons’ dating life came up and she made it clear she had no plans to have sex until she said “I Do” let alone have a child.

Host Charlemagne asked Simmons if she was concerned a guy would try to “trap” her because of her success.

“Who’s gonna trap me?” she asked. “Well I’m not having sex until I get married so they’re not gonna get me pregnant. I’m really smart. So nobody’s trapping me.”

They also asked why Simmons and Miller never explored a dating relationship considering their chemistry. But Simmons revealed that she was dating someone just weeks later. But his identity has remained a mystery. Fans seemed to be more interested and intrigued to know who the guy is when she announced her engagement last month. Word is that it is either a man named Tennyson Sutton, who has a criminal past, or an oil tycoon Knowledge Katti.

Meanwhile, Simmons had stayed quiet after pregnancy rumors were sparked after her engagement announcement. Buts he broke her silence and confirmed her pregnancy on May 27. She said she and the mystery guy are “overjoyed.”
