'The Real' Cast 2016: Show Denies Co-Hosts Got Tamar Braxton Fired [VIDEO]

The Real has clapped back at Tamar Braxton’s hints that her former The Real co-hosts could have had something to do with her getting fired. But it doesn’t look like many fans believe it.

The show released an official statement Friday after Braxton said on WeTV’s Braxton Family Values that the whole incident of her being let go caused her to wonder if the ladies she once starred in the show with were really her friends. It also comes after Loni Love was accused of having a hand in her firing and Braxton’s reported decision to unfollow all of the ladies on social media, with the exception of Tamera Mowry-Housley.

The statement reads, “Tamar Braxton’s contract was not renewed for reasons that will remain privileged and private, and that are between her and the Studio. However, we would like to make it crystal clear that Ms. Braxton’s departure from the show had nothing to do with her former co-hosts; any suggestion to the contrary unfairly tarnishes them. As always, we wish Tamar and Vince all the best.”

Still, fans aren’t necessarily convinced that the show had pure motives when putting out the statement; especially considering it’s the second one they have released since Braxton’s firing became public two weeks ago.

In its first statement, the show said Braxton leaving was mutual and she wanted to focus on her solo career. The Real and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with ‘The Real’ appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best in the future.” They also sent Braxton an official farewell via Instagram.
