Prince Harry is set to ski across Antarctica with Walking With the Wounded for the South Pole Allied Challenge. The 28 year old will travel with wounded service men on the 208-mile journey.

According to Zap2It, the trek will begin in November from Cape Town and work to raise money for wounded veterns and transition them into civilian jobs.

"We are not allowed to officially call it a race, but I think we all know what will happen," Harry said according to People. "These men and women have given their all in the cause of freedom. That they should once again step into the breach, this time facing down the extreme mental and physical challenges of trekking to the South Pole just underlines their remarkable qualities. Toughness of mind; an unquenchable spirit that refuses to say 'I am beaten'."

Prince Harry or, as the team is calling him, Captain Wales, is a particularly good choice as a team mate due to his connection to the army after having served in the Army Air Corps. In 2011 Harry hiked to the North Pole for the organization, according to the Huffington Post.

Also participating in the event are Soldier on Canada, America's organization Soldiers to Summits, and Soldier on Australia.
