Amber Heard may be in the midst of a messy divorce and abuse scandal with husband Johnny Depp, but that doesn't necessarily mean she hasn't made time for a new relationship.

While Heard, 30, has stayed mum on rumors of a new romance, she and Tesla founder Elon Musk have been linked to one another since shortly after her split from the 52-year-old actor.

"The actress, who is currently going through a contentious divorce from Johnny Depp, has allegedly been spending time with billionaire Elon Musk," PEOPLE Magazine reported at the end of last month. "The two were spotted separately last weekend at the same luxurious hotel, the Delano South Beach. According to a hotel guest, Heard and Musk were seen, on separate occasions, in the hotel's lobby. "

According to a source close to Heard, however, she and Musk are only friend.

“Amber was there with her sister. She has been friends with Elon for four years. She had rented a standard suite at the hotel, and he had a bungalow, a poolside duplex room. He offered Amber and her sister use of his room so they could use the pool and have extra privacy, as he was working on a rocket launch,” the source told Page Six.

“They all happened to be staying at the Delano. The group hung out at the hotel, rather than in public, understandably, due to all the recent press scrutiny,” another source added.
