Jamie Dornan has wrapped filming on the Fifty Shades trilogy and is excited to get back to his normal routine as husband to Amelia Warner.

In a new inteview, Dornan opened up about leaving the series behind ahead of its potential fourth film, which would have been adapted from E.L. James' fourth novel, Grey.

“We have done two movies back to back now, and I’m actually finished with it,” Dornan explained to The Sun, via Xpose. “I’ve done Fifty Shades forever.”

“I move on very fast in my mind. As much as from the outside people think you are synonymous with one character, but I’m very much like, ‘Right, that’s done’, and move on to the next project and worry about that character," he explained.

“I think as an actor, you do just want to mix it up,” Dornan continued during an appearance on Good Morning America, via the Inquisitr. “You don’t want to be typecast.”

“We filmed two and three back to back,” he revealed. “It was the right way to do it. It was good for everyone, in terms of keeping up with the energy… It’s hard in a way for people to re-motivate themselves and get back into character.”

Throughout filming, Warner was often seen by Dornan's side, but now, after spending time in Vancouver together, the couple can enjoy some free time as they prepare for the promotion of the film later this year.
