Lindsay Lohan agree to pay attorney Shawn Holley $150,000 that was owed for previous work before the lawyer would agree to represent the actress again in court, according to TMZ.

Holley has set up an arrangement in which the Mean Girls star would earmark money for the attorney. Holley demanded a payment specific schedule so that she could never be stiffed again by the star who is currently at Betty Ford rehabilitation center.

A source told Radar Online that a cash strapped Lohan is trying to come up with the cash to pay Holley the amount owed. Lohan is not able to pay her entire debt at this time but has informed her business manager to make some form of payment to Holley.

"Shawn wouldn't be doing this work for free," the source said. "Shawn and Lindsay have been through a lot together, and she has vowed to turn over a new leaf."

Lohan also made amends for her behavior towards Holley. In January, she fired the attorney who has successfully kept out of her prison for extended periods of times over the years. Lohan spent the afternoon on the phone with Holley, crying hysterically and apologizing for her past actions.

The source also said that Holley was sympathetic but was going to make sure that Lohan remained true to her newfound commitment to treat her with greater respect. Holley made it clear that she would not be a glutton for punishment.

"If she as much looked at her the wrong way, she was out," the source said. " No questions asked. Lindsay knows she means it because Shawn had fired her once, and wouldn't hesitate in doing so again."

Last week, Lohan fired Mark Heller as her attorney on record. Her decision on May 2 to relieve him of his duties came the same day she had to enter court-ordered rehab. Lohan initially chose Morningside Recovery but had second thoughts about the treatment center and Heller. She left Morningside less than an hour after entering.

"Lindsay had serious concerns about her treatment there remaining confidential. So she, her entertainment lawyer and her manager all began calling Shawn, and begging her to agree to come back on board," a source said.
