Kim Richards' daughter, Brooke Brinson, welcomed her first child, a baby boy, earlier this week.

Two years after marrying Thayer Wiederhorn, Brinson became a mom and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star became a grandmother. Prior to the birth, Brinson shared a photo of herself and her mother on her Instagram page.

"Happy birthday to the most amazing mom in the world! I know you will be an even more amazing grandma!! I love you!" Brinson captioned the photo below.

"Thank you so much Brookie!" Richards wrote in response. "I love you more than words can say!! I sit patiently waiting for the phone for Our new arrival. Thank you for such beautiful words.. Mommies only dream that they hear words like this..."

News of the baby's birth first hit the web on Thursday.

"Brooke Wiederhorn and her husband Thayer Wiederhorn welcomed a baby boy into the world on Wednesday night around 11 p.m.," E! News confirmed. "The little bundle of joy is Kim's first grand-baby."

Richards is also mom to Kimberly Jackson and Whitney and Chad Davis.

E! News noted Richards as a "former" Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, but in recent weeks, she has been seen with several of her co-stars, who are currently filming the series' seventh season.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season seven will air on Bravo TV later this year. A premiere date has not yet been set.
