The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade officially has been making its way down the streets of New York City with amazing balloons and floats, and of course, great talent-including Ben Rector

The country singer helped usher in some of the fun with a performance of "Brand New" as he arrived in Herald Square aboard the Mount Rushmore's American Pride float, sponsored by the South Dakota Department of Tourism.

Rector was a great choice for the float, which encourages people to get out and visit America's monuments and see what the whole country has to offer--both the old and the 'brand new.'
