Apple previously delayed its first wireless headphones, AirPods' launch in October, saying that the product is not ready and they need some more time. Many customers are anxiously anticipating the release. Now, Apple CEO Tim Cook respond to a customer saying that AirPods will ship over the next few weeks.

MacRumors received an email in which Apple CEO, responds to a customer. In which customer's comment was "Give us a release date. I really bought in to the wireless vision you painted. Now I'm stuck waiting with my EarPods but can't charge my 7 at the same time which I need to do at work. Let us know if it's a month or 6 months, because then I'll just buy some other wireless headphones."

Reply given by Tim Cook, "Thanks for your note. Sorry for the delay---we are finalizing them and I anticipate we will begin to ship over the next few weeks."

So far, Apple has not confirmed the release date of AirPods. As per the previous news, it will launch anytime between December and January. Many are saying that it will launch in January event. Apple AirPods are listed "unavailable" in official Apple website.

For those who don't know about Apple announced their wireless headphones called AirPod in September 2016 event along with iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Apple removed 3.5mm Audio Jack in these new devices. However, they are giving adapter with new devices to support 3.5mm Jack headphones.

As written in Business Insider, "AirPods have been hotly anticipated since Apple revealed them alongside the iPhone 7, which doesn't have a headphone jack. The $159 wireless headphones were positioned as the obvious next-generation fix, but many are now worried that the devices will miss the all-important holiday season."

So, people especially iPhone 7 and 7 Plus owners can expect their most awaited AirPods in either December or January.
