The company is widely known to introduce all its devices as "flagship killers." Now OnePlus seems to take a step forward with its software update as well. Earlier, the tech giant promised to bring Android's next-gen baby 7.0 Nougat on its high-end smartphones OnePlus 3 and 3T. As per a current insight, the company has taken its first step in this tremendous initiative by introducing a beta program on its OnePlus 3 model.

As per a report by Gadget 360, OnePlus had also announced its plan to unveil the beta version of 7.0 Nougat on its handsets. It seems that the mobile and gadget giant has just implemented on this November what it had stated earlier

However, the company has clarified that OnePlus 3T smartphone won't be part of the beta program. This Nougat beta builds update is specifically meant for those who owns OnePlus 3 handset. They will be able to enjoy this beta program until the full version of Android 7.0 Nougat arrives for this model.

According to OnePlus, this beta is just an unfinished version of OnePlus' Oxygen Operating System based on Nougat. So it is just like a tip for those who are always seeking for an adventurous debut and willing to install a primary level testing program on their handsets.

The update can be downloaded from the download links available on the official website. A user needs to bring the zip file on his own smartphone and follow the given instructions given on the download page to fulfil the process of installation.

By completing the installation, a user will be able to take the advantage of new notification design, a multi-window view, new Settings menu design, notification direct reply attribute, custom DPI support, quick launch facility for third-party applications, extended status bar icon options and improved shelf customisation.

However, as it is a beta edition some apps like Android Pay, Navigator may not work properly. Users are recommended to not operate these high-end apps on the beta program to avoid sudden hang or slow down and even switch off. These bugs will not be seen on the full version which is also hinted to launch very soon.
