Microsoft has been known for its enormous creations in technology. Though it has reached to superlative heights with its Computing devices, but it has not been able to spell the magic that much with its smartphone segment. However, Microsoft is trying to boom its mobile section up as well with its upcoming sensation Microsoft Surface Phone.

According to IBT, the smartphone is supposed to be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which saw the lights of the day on November 17 this year. The CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella has showcased his hopes with Surface Phone to achieve a better position in the Smartphone market.

As per another report by Nokia Power User, the phone will come with two variants, the primary one will sport 4GB of RAM space whereas the secondary version will come with 6GB RAM. They are also said to support Quick charging 4.0. The version with 6GB RAM will also be able to run x86 apps in Continuum.

The upcoming surface phone is reported to be powered by Windows 10 Mobile Operating System but it is still not clear whether or not it will get to see the update of Redstone 3 when the OS upgrade releases. The system attributes will be running on 64-bit, as per the rumours.

The phone is also said to feature a shiny 5.5 QHD display. With the new processor, the phone is said to have a 40% extra power safety capability. Besides all these, Microsoft is also planning to implement the 3-in-1 form factor as a major highlight of the Surface phone.

Previously, it was thought that Microsoft would release the surface smartphone by the end of this year. But with the revealing of Surface Studio in October, it seems that there are pretty rare chances of Surface Phone to be unveiled anytime before 2017. It is now thought that the smartphone will be unveiled by the first half of next year.
