The game enthusiasts have been waiting for the coming of Xbox 2 or deemed as Microsoft's Project Scorpio. Although there are no concrete details about the much-awaited console, the tech giant already announced its coming that will go head-to-head with PlayStation 4 Pro.

It has been known that the PlayStation 4 Pro has the ability to play and support every kind of PlayStation 4 games. So, this, too, might be the specs the second version of Xbox One is carrying, according to Hot Hardware.

Xbox 2 may bear a powerful option that the users won't need to upgrade to play the Xbox game they want. Just like the PlayStation 4 Pro, the Microsoft console won't just improve previous titles but there will be a number of updates to make it work.

Meanwhile, Yahoo Tech noted the possible features the next generation console might be featuring. It is expected to be 4K games compatible with full Windows 10 integration. Fans have been long waiting for Microsoft to release 4K version of its existing Xbox One games.

It is, too, assumed that Xbox 2 will be VR ready. With the partnership of Microsoft and HoloLens, it is not far that the second generation console can support VR games.

Moreover, the next gaming console might bear a powerful 6 teraflops of GPU that will make playing with 4K and VR games possible. Aside from that, it may be powered by AMD Vega CPU and 5 GB DDR5 RAM.

With Xbox One backwards compatibility, it is also anticipated that Xbox 2 can run Xbox One contents. However, this may come with its own specific games that playing previous titles might not work.

With all these powerful specs, it may have the price like the high-end PC, although the head of Xbox Phil Spencer promised that it would only cost like other gaming consoles ranging from $500 to $600. He, too, confirmed the coming of the platform at the recent E3 2016 and might be released in the last quarter of 2017.
