Just like what is promised, the Chinese tech company OnePlus is now rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices. The said software upgrade will reportedly bring enhancements and new features to the smartphones.

According to Daily Express, OnePlus has promised to roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T before the 2016 ends. The Chinese smartphone maker has kept its promise to its patrons as the year 2016 is about to end the company released the firmware upgrade.

On the last day of 2016, Carl Pei the co-founder of OnePlus has confirmed when OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners could expect the new mobile operating system to drop. The OxygenOS 4.0, which is build on the latest version of Google's mobile operating system, started to roll out in the final hours of 2016.

The Android 7.0 Nougat for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T brings new features like brand-new notifications and settings menu design. OnePlus has also tweaked the multi-window view upon the users upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat. The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners will also be able to act and reply to messages from within the notification itself.

When it comes to the steps on how to install the Android 7.0 Nougat to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T handsets, International Business Times had stated the step-by-step process. If the users of the above-mentioned phones have received a notification message for this update, they just have to select "Yes, I'm in."

Then, after the software has been downloaded, they will need to select "Install Now." After the software is installed, OnePlus3 and OnePlus 3T handsets will restart automatically and finally, the handsets are now running on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Just in case the users of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T handsets don't receive notification that the Android 7.0 Nougat update is already available, they can stilt manually check. They will just have to head to Settings > System Updates > Check for Updates.
