Kordell Stewart admitted that he changed the locks on the home he shares with Porsha Stewart because he feared for the safety of his family.

The couple who have only been married less than two years are in the midst of a divorce that began back in March when Kordell filed papers against The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star. Porsha recently said that her estranged husband locked her out of their mansion and requested her lawyers to obtain the keys back from Kordell.

Enstars reported earlier that Porsha claimed that she had to move in with her mother because Kordell abandoned her from the house.

According to new documents obtained by HipHollywood, Kordell said that the main reason why he changed the house keys was because the reality star is in and out of their home and does not give a reason or notice when she leaves.

"(Porsha) established a routine of leaving (the) pre-marital residence without explanation and without consideration of the detrimental effects such behavior would have on the parties' marriage , and (Kordell's) nine year old son," the documents stated.

Kordell claimed that he told Porsha that he was changing the locks via a text message.

"Hey reaching out not knowing who may or may not have keys to the house at this point, I was concerned for our safety so I changed the locks on the house. If and when you need to get in give me a heads up so you can get in," the text message allegedly stated.

Kordell also said that Porsha has enough money to find her own house from the income she receives form guest appearances.

"She is a celebrity, and has the income through appearances, endorsements, Bravo and other entities ...(Porsha) should be capable of supporting herself but may not be able to as a result of her own financial negligence."

Porsha reportedly wants a judge to demand that Kordell gives her money so that she could move into a "suitable residence."
