The Android Wear 2.0 has been reported to be launched on February 9 as claimed by another and latest rumor. Google has been releasing previews of this application the past months and because of delay, the launch has been pushed to 2017.

Just the other week, Google asked their developers to make an update on their apps particularly on Android Wear 2.0 as soon as possible since this will be launched in early February. Therefore the rumor that it will be released on February 9 is just right.

According to Ubergizmo, Evan Blass revealed on his Twitter that users can expect for the new Android Wear on February 9, 2017. The only thing uncertain is if this happens in all regions or the launch will just start on the said date.

According to the developers, some of the features of this app have evolved and improved to ensure that these features will fit on the needs and wants of the users.

As per PC Advisor, the Android Wear smartwatch is a device that can function on its own even without the help of smartphones.

The reports further added that among the significant new features of this app includes access to the Internet directly through Wi-Fi or even Bluetooth. This means that the user doesn't need to switch on or close the phone just to operate properly.

Apart from these, through this app, the smartwatch can also receive push messages using the Google Cloud Messaging.

As Google prepares for its launch on February 9, the Android Wear 2.0 will only be available to some devices. With this, the company also released some of the devices in which this app will work.

These devices include Moto 360 Sport, LG G Watch R, Polar M600, Tag Heuer Connected, Casio Smart Outdoor Watch, Nixon Mission, LG Watch Urbane, Huawei Watch, Michael Kors Access Dylan Smartwatch, Asus ZenWatch 2, Fossil Q Wander, Moto 360 Gen 2, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Smartwatch, Fossil Q Marshal, LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, Asus ZenWatch 3, Fossil Q Founder, and the Huawei Watch Ladies.

The reported release date which will be on February 9 might be true after all since an LG Smartwatch was recently seen in the FCC and this device is reportedly being operated by Android Wear 2.0.

Users should then get ready as Google is expected to launch the Android Wear 2.0 come February 9, 2017.
