The Pokemon Company has publicized in Japan that a new Pokemon game is arriving for iOS and Android devices. The Japanese title of the video game is "Hanero! Koiking" which when translated into English would mean "Splash! Magikarp."

According to GameSpot, The Pokemon Company has released a teaser website meant for "Splash! Magikarp." Base on the web page the "Splash! Magikarp" may put an emphasis on the Pokemon Magikarp since the teaser page was comprised of a newspaper article that indicates the photo of two Magikarp-shaped holes in the ground. These were discovered by a 27-year-old fisherman in a peculiar place which is called the middle of a town.

Furthermore, Forbes has noted that the "Splash! Magikarp" is just announced in for Japan but there is a possibility that the game might be available for other countries just like the recently unveiled "Pokemon Duel." It can be remembered that with the release of "Pokemon Duel" The Pokémon Company is a bit wobblier with the assets in Japan.

It was also noted that the bestselling accomplishment of "Pokemon GO" indicates that even less Western-oriented video games have a chance of crossing the Pacific and landing on the market shelves in America. Nevertheless, it still remains to be seen if "Splash! Magikarp" has a possibility to become available in other countries.

But then, patrons of The Pokemon Company don't have to lose hope since "Pokemon Duel" also took some time to reach Western countries. With this, it appears like the "Splash! Magikarp" has to become successful in Japan first before the company considers transporting it to the Western part of the world.

Dubbed as "Splash! Magikarp", the new Pokemon game will be released in Spring 2017 for iOS and Android handsets in Japan. Moreover, the video game's release in other markets is not yet confirmed. Also, there is still no available details about the said game's gameplay.
