At Google I/O 2016, we got to know the first look of a new feature coming to Android called 'Instant Apps'. Basically, Android Instant Apps allow you to access a cloud-based version of the app on your Android phone without requiring you to install it from the Play Store. This will save users time and effort and will also allow companies to let people demo what's essentially a full version of their app before installing it.

An Android Instant App is essentially one that appears as a link in a browser so from there users can go into the app version rather than website. But you won't have to download the app.

Google is finally rolling out Instant Apps, but only for a select number of users at present, Android Authority reported. Numerous other reports state that the Pixel and Pixel XL, running Android 7.1.2, are also gaining support for Instant Apps. But now that Instant Apps are rolling out to a number of additional users, we should know about how to use them.

To get Instant Apps on your phone you need to have Android 7.0 installed firstly. Once up to date you should start seeing the app links appear from your Google searches. For activating the Instant App service you need just once to go into your phone's menu to Settings then go to Google Instant Apps, and then you need to turn on switch and agree to terms. You're all set to start using the service, according to Updato.

To know about How to use Android Instant Apps, on your Android device, perform a Google search for one of the supported applications listed above. Scroll down and select the app listing that includes the word 'Instant', then tap on the Open App.

Once the Instant App loads up, you can use it just like you would with any other app that's been downloaded via the Google Play Store.  If you like an app then you can still download the full version to have it stored on your phone for offline. And if you are using older versions of Android, Instant Apps are coming to 96 percent of Android users as they will work from Android 4.1 and higher.
