"Overwatch" Season 3 fans may just have to come to terms with the looming end of the season. The potential end of the popular team-based multiplayer game from Blizzard Entertainment received mixed reactions from the fans, some wistful for the possible end while some excited for "Overwatch" Season 4.

According to Express UK, the possibility of "Overwatch" Season 3 coming to an end was triggered when the game director, Jeff Kaplan, openly talked about certain characters, delaying impact and skipping certain features to be on schedule. Fans have reportedly been warned of the upcoming "Overwatch" Season 3 ending. However, plans for "Overwatch" Season 4 have been circulating online, giving the players something to look forward to.

As one saying goes, all food things come to an end, and this applies to "Overwatch" Season 3 as Blizzard Entertainment set the end date on Feb. 22 UK time. Meanwhile, for players in the PST, the game will end on Feb. 21 at 4:00 p.m. For those who are excited for "Overwatch" Season 4, it is already confirmed that the fourth installment will be launched on Feb. 28 4:00 p.m PST and Mar. 1 GMT.

Blizzard Entertainment has yet to elaborate the details about "Overwatch" Season 4 and with just barely a week before its release date, it's highly possible that players may just have to find out for themselves. Speaking about "Overwatch 4," Jeff Kaplan simply said that they are building their plans based on the players' feedback. "Throughout Season 3, we've been listening to the community and modifying our plans based on your feedback," he said.

According to IGN, new heroes are also being designed for "Overwatch" Season 4, teasing the players that the 24th "Overwatch" hero is not someone expected by everyone. It remains unconfirmed but Jeff Kaplan might be referring to Doomfist, who is the popular hero that comes to mind when players talk about the possible "Overwatch" 24th hero.
