Angelina Jolie and her son Maddox visited Buckingham Palace and the two enjoyed a private tour of some of its state rooms but that did not include the royal family. This took place after the actress delivered a speech that centred on women's rights at the London School of Economics.

Angelina Jolie's visit was just low-key and that she met no one form the royal family. It can be recalled that she and her family also visited the palace last 2014 which happened not long after her marriage with Brad Pitt. That was also the time when she met Queen Elizabeth for about 20 minutes and she was awarded the title of Honorary Dame.

Moreover, last 2015, Jolie and her ex-husband Brad Pitt also joined the royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton for a tea at the Kensington Palace. That became a part of Angelina's cherished moments with the royal family as well as with her estranged husband.

During her visit with her eldest son, the filmmaker and the activist also delivered a lecture at the university's Centre for Women, Peace, and Security as reported on PEOPLE. This will also be the same school where Jolie will also serve as a visiting professor and she will teach the same subject in a master's course starting in September.

Angelina Jolie lectured on women's rights especially in refugee camps and how these rights could be possibly exploited because of displacement wherein women become vulnerable to sexual violence. The class was also informed about the connection between the policy that is being implemented by the government and the field. But the meat of the discussion centered in the rights of women.

Apart from this, Angelina Jolie and her kids also went to a local London bookstore wherein she purchased about 30 books. The books which she bought were mostly coloring books, book markers, Harry Potter book and Easter-themed project books as per Daily Mail.

After her visit to London, Angelina Jolie will head to Geneva to continue her humanitarian work. In here, she will also deliver the Annual Sergio Vieira de Mello Memorial Lecture to be held at the United Nations Assembly Hall.
