Katy Perry reveals platinum blonde pixie cut

Katy Perry is sporting a new pixie haircut that is shorter than her previous hairstyles.

According to E! Online, Katy Perry has stunned her fans and followers as she cut her hair last month. Now, the pop singer has taken it just a step further as she reveals a shorter hairstyle on her Instagram writing "fifth element flow."

On the photo Perry shared, she put on a black jacket with a hood that just displays the top half of her head but it is visible that she maintained the bleached hue of her hair. She even tagged her hair stylist Chris McMillan as well as celebrity colorist Justin Anderson on her Instagram post.

It can be recalled that Perry first cut off her hair at the beginning of March after her relationship with Orlando Bloom ended. The pop singer revealed the inspiration behind her new hairstyle was none other than Scarlett Johansson.

"I saw Scarlett Johansson and she had the same cut and I was like, 'That's one of the most beautiful women in the world. I can do that, too and look maybe half as good.' So I went there," Perry stated to Ryan Seacrest at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Furthermore, Mirror has noted that Perry's latest haircut has left her fans divided as some of them loved it and some have hated it. According to a comment; "Anyone else think Katy Perry should stop cutting her hair? She looks awful." Also, another fan has stated that "For what it's worth, I liked your hair better when it was long & black."

Meanwhile, some of her patrons liked Perry's new look: "People please @katyperry can do what she wants! She looks great! All I saw when I opened Twitter today was rants about her hair. I love it!"

The same news media outlet has learned that Perry has recently been linked to Ryan Phillippe. Nevertheless, the actor denied these assumptions after the pop singer opened up her sexual involvements with women.
