Apple Inc. is slated to launch another powerful tablet. Dubbed as iPad Pro 2, the said device might make its first appearance during the Worldwide Developers Conference.

According to BGR, despite that the Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is still away; there have been a lot of leaks and speculations about the iPad Pro 2. It was also mentioned that the Cupertino-based tech company will not release the much-awaited anniversary edition iPhone at the forthcoming conference in June. But then it will surely refresh its tablet lineup along with the announcement of its iOS and Mac software.

During the WWDC, Apple is expected to announce other three iPads along with the iPad Pro 2. The upcoming tablets will include 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2, new iPad models in 10.5-inch and 10-inch display sizes, and a 9.7-inch iPad Mini 5.

It can also be recalled that the last update to the iPad Mini model was released way back in 2015 and if speculations are to be believed, the tech giant will also re-brand the device and call it simply as the 'iPad Mini'.

When it comes with the specs, PC Advisor has learned that the new 12.9-inh iPad Pro 2 will be thinner and lighter compared to its predecessor. It was also believed that Apple will also incorporate water resistant technology to the upcoming device.

The iPad Pro 2 will be equipped with TrueTone screen running at up to 120Hz. This handset will also boast Touch Bar that is currently present to Apple's MacBook. The successor of iPad Pro will also be compatible with second-generation Apple Pencil and it will not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. Upcoming iPad Pro is also speculated to have an upgraded cameras and it might be engineered with A10X processor.

If the prediction that the iPad Pro 2 will be launched during the WWDC, it will be just a month of wait. Moreover, the aforementioned specs are based on speculations; thus recommended to be taken with a grain of salt.
