Justin Bieber's bodyguards are under investigation for allegedly harming someone who was trying to take his picture, TMZ reported June 9.

Bieber and his handlers were at a hooka lounge in Hollywood recently when someone -- not a paparazzo -- tried to take a picture of the him. One of Bieber's bodyguards tried to stop the person from taking photos of the 19-year-old singer and some sort of fight broke out, law enforcement sourced told the website. The man trying to take pictures then called police but when officials arrived at the scene, Bieber and his team were reportedly gone.

Police opened a misdemeanor battery investigation in regards to the incident but Bieber is not considered a suspect as it is unclear what role he played in the events that unfolded, according to the report.

Bieber and his bodyguards were accused of three similar incidents in Miami earlier in June. In one of the case, the singer reportedly told his handlers to try and steal a photographer's camera.

Bieber was outside a recording studio on June 5 when he appeared to tell his bodyguards to take the man's camera, despite the latter's pleas to let him go. A video of the scene shows the photographer begging for the security to let him have his camera.

In another incident later that day, Bieber's security team alleged attacked a paparazzo who took pictures of the singer skateboarding in the parking lot of the recording studio Hit Factory. One bodyguard is alleged to have choked the man and taken his memory card from his device.

Bieber as of late has been having serious concerns with photographers snapping photos of him or even taking videos. Backstage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in May he kissed and hugged Selena Gomez, and once he realized cameras caught all the action, he tried to get the video to be turned off and stop recording him.
