Previous reports just claimed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might be thinking of reconciling since their divorce proceedings are not moving forward. It was claimed that the former couple put their divorce on hold but lately, it was verified that they do not actually have any intention to get back together or save their marriage.

But even if there were some reports telling that Jolie and Pitt might reconcile in the end, still, Mail Online claimed that the two are not even thinking of fixing their marriage. The report added that the divorce is just taking longer than what was originally planned before.

Though it was reported before that Jolie regrets portraying Pitt as the villain in their failed marriage after the announcement of their divorce, the actress still has no interest in giving him another chance in order to save their marriage. Meanwhile, some source claimed that Pitt felt disappointed when the "Maleficent" actress made him out to be an abusive father to the point that he was even subjected to an investigation because of this allegation.

After Jolie filed for divorce, several reports indicted Pitt as the key reason for the separation. Some issues regarding his infidelity also came out which was not proven in the end. But the most controversial was the alleged confrontation he had with son Maddox that happened while the family was boarding a private jet last September. Then it was claimed that this incident became Jolie's basis to finally pull the plug of their marriage.

Later, Metro reported that Pitt was cleared off the child abuse charges because the FBI did not find relevant and sufficient pieces of evidence to charge the actor. But whatever happened inside that private jet, it was bad enough that it led Pitt to reevaluate his parenting skills and even his life.

Just lately, Pitt reportedly got sober and committed himself again to become the best father to his six children he shares with Jolie. The change was noticeable and this pushed Jolie to reconsider her decision for his visitation rights and custody. Maybe reconciliation for the two was too much to expect.
