Superman is back on the big screen and it's clear that fans are rushing to see the action film.

The film, starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent and Amy Adam as Lois Lane, hits U.S. theaters on Friday.  President of Fandago, Paul Yanover, talked during his interview with Fox on Wednesday about a new tool for measuring data that has proved Man of Steel is getting good ratings.

He also mentioned his own predictions, coming straight from the consumers themselves.

"We created a new index tool, a data tool called 'fanticipation,' where we are actually measuring consumer sentiment," he said. "Man of Steel - off the charts, it scored a 98 out of a total score of 100, a pretty rare score. There's no questions it's going to be huge. It's going to be among the biggest movies this summer."

In regards to Man of Steel's 2013 competitors, Yanover said that Iron Man 3 and Star Trek Into The Darkness had similar numbers, but the Warner Bros. film may still beat both movies at the box office.

Iron Man 3 is so far the biggest grossing movie of 2013. The movie, which hit theaters on May 3, stars Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow. It has grossed almost $400 million domestically, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana's Star Trek Into The Darkness grossed a little over $200 million since it hit U.S. theaters on May 16, the website stated.

Warner Bros. is predicting that Man of Steel will bring in approximately $75 to $80 million on its opening weekend alone, according to Entertainment Weekly. Prognosticators, on the other hand, predict anywhere between $84 million and $115 million.

Other big movies coming out this summer are World War Z starring Brad Pitt on June 21, White House Down with Channing Tatum on June 28, the animated film Despicable Me 2 on July 3, The Wolverine with Hugh Jackman on July 26, and 2 Guns starring Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington on August 2.
