Do you remember where you were when I Know What You Did Last Summer premiered on Oct. 17, 1997?

If you are a 90's baby, you were probably seven years old and more than likely, you didn't watch this movie until you were at least a teenager (or maybe you snuck and watched it anyway). Nonetheless, the teenage horror flick was a cult classic and is regularly played every year on Halloween.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, the film's leading lady, was dubbed the 'scream queen', an honor bestowed upon certain actresses in Hollywood that have played (and screamed) in horror films. Hewitt, however, was more than that. Jennifer went on to play a multitude of various roles in different film genres, such as, Can't Hardly Wait, Heartbreakers, and The Truth About Love. She later transitioned into television and starred in, The Ghost Whisperer and The Client List.

With a career spawning over two decades, Hewitt is a Hollywood treasure, but it's been noticed that lately we haven't seen much of the starlet, except on Instagram.

It appears that Ms. Hewitt has decided to give the big screen (and small screen) a break for a while. While the actress hasn't outright stated that she's calling it quits, she has spoken about being in the public light for so long back in 2015.

"I've been an actress for 25 years, and have had to be hungry at times for my career, so being pregnant is completely freeing," Hewitt stated in an interview with American Baby while she was pregnant with her second child. Since she joined Instagram in August, Jennifer's post mainly revolve around her life at home with her kids, running errands, and catching up with old friends. Celebrity friends, I might add.

Hewitt is mom to daughter, Autumn, born in 2013 and son, Atticus, born in 2015. She's married to her Client List costar, Brian Hallisay. Even though Jenn is enjoying her quiet life, she still seems to reminisce, just like we do, about the glory days.

"20 years ago four teenagers and a fisherman met on a dark road. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. #iknowhwhatyoudidtwentyyearsago#flashbacktuesday #feelingoldnow," she wrote  on the anniversary of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Hewitt's former costar, Ryan Phillipe, also shared his fond memory of making the hit film back in April of this year.

"I remember it was a really exciting time because Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze, Jennifer Love Hewitt and I were all kind of starting our careers out, and it felt like it was our first big-studio movie at the time," Phillippe said in an interview with Good Morning America.
