Selena Gomez Means A Lot To Justin Bieber, Says He Missed Her During Thanksgiving

Selena Gomez went home to Texas for the Thanksgiving holiday last week as her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, traveled to Canada to spend time with his own family.

Although the couple opted against a joint holiday celebration, a new report claims the distance between Gomez and Bieber was a good thing for the newly reconciled couple.

“Justin’s recent time away from Selena gave him a chance to realize how much she means to him,” an inside revealed to Hollywood Life on Nov. 29. “He genuinely missed being with Selena over the holiday weekend and the time apart was a learning experience for him. Despite having a great time with his friends, Justin found himself thinking about Selena and wishing she was with him.”

Gomez and Bieber reunited in late October for the first time in over a year. Weeks later, they confirmed their romance with a public kiss at an ice rink in Los Angeles. Since then, the couple has continued to be seen together but didn't attend the American Music Awards as a couple. In fact, Bieber skipped the event all together as Gomez performs her latest song, "Wolves."

“The time away gave Justin an opportunity to understand how strong his love is for Selena,” the source continued. “Justin is really in touch with his emotions and his connection with Selena. Thanks to his time away from her, he was able to realize how much he really does love her.”

Despite their many outings in recent weeks, Gomez and Bieber haven't confirmed anything publicly about their new relationship.

In the past, the couple has been notoriously known for their on-and-off relationship. After a very public Instagram feud in August 2016, they kept their distance from each another for several months. As fans of the couple will recall, Gomez and Bieber came to blows after he posted an image of his now ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie on his Instagram account. During his relationship with Richie, fans were outraged and Bieber told them to be nice to her or else he would make his account private.

In response to Bieber's threat, Gomez told her former boyfriend to be nicer to his fans and reminded him that his fans and followers have been supportive of him since the start of his career. In turn, Bieber blasted Gomez for allegedly using him to get attention on herself.
