Fast and Furious 6 actress Jordana Brewster has a resume most actors would envy, but the brunette beauty is still upset about losing one role.

"It was a long time ago, but I auditioned for Alejandra in All The Pretty Horses," she told Enstars of the role that ultimately went to Penélope Cruz.

The 2000 film centered around two Texas cowboys headed to Mexico in search of work, but find themselves in trouble with the law after one of them falls in love with a wealthy rancher's daughter.

"I wanted that role. I was upset I didn't get it," Brewster said about the role that got away. "I mean, who doesn't want to star opposite Matt Damon and be directed by Billy Bob Thornton."

But she's moving on to bigger projects and gearing up for Fast and The Furious 7

Although she hasn't seen the script yet, the actress is "really excited" and knows it'll be another "fun ride" for fans.

"I'm excited to be reuniting with all the boys," she gushed about her co-stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson. "We're like family. It's lovely."

In the Fast and Furious franchise, Brewster's Mia Torreto started as the girl-next-door love interest for Paul Walker's Brian, but over the course of six films has grown to become just as bad ass as the boys. In Fast and Furious 6, Mia returned as a wife and mother willing to do anything to protect her family.

The seventh film is set to begin filming in September. Big names being linked to the film are Halle Berry, Taylor Lautner and Rihanna.

Brewster said any of those stars would be a welcome addition to the cast.

Earlier this week, actor Vin Diesel opened up about seventh movie, revealing that filming is scheduled to take place in locations like Tokyo and the Middle East.

"We're definitely going back home, as you know from seeing Fast and Furious 6," said Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto, according to Digital Spy. "We will have a stint in Tokyo and there is the Middle East next, that could be very interesting."

Fast & Furious 7 is rumored to race into theaters on July 11, 2014.
