Javi Marroquin Apologizes To Kailyn Lowry On Twitter After Miami Trip; Was Briana Using Him?

Javi Marroquin learned a lot during his recent trip to Miami to help Briana DeJesus as she recovered from a number of plastic surgery procedures.

After catching DeJesus's ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin in the hospital room, Marroquin hightailed it out of Miami and quickly realized that his priorities may have gotten a bit out of sorts in recent weeks.

"At the end of the day a good relationship with my son's mother will make Lincoln the happiest. I lost sight of that. This trip made me realize that and I’ve apologized to [Kailyn Lowry] for my actions," he tweeted on Feb. 2.

Marroquin and Lowry share one son, four-year-old Lincoln, and were married for three and a half years. Meanwhile, he and DeJesus dated for just months and he may have been being used the entire time.

Although Lowry didn't directly address Marroquin's message to her with a response, she did re-tweet his post and later reflected on their crazy life by responding to a post from her fellow Teen Mom Katie Yeager. As fans may recall, Yeager appeared on Teen Mom 3, which lasted just one season, alongside Mackenzie McKee, Alexandria Sekella, and Briana DeJesus who later joined Teen Mom 2.

As Yeager pointed out, no amount of money would be worth her sanity.

Marroquin and Lowry had been at odds for some time, and during the time Marroquin was dating DeJesus, Lowry made it clear that she was not a fan of the relationship. She also reportedly felt that Marroquin was being used by DeJesus.

“Kailyn feels sorry for Javi right now, she thinks he’s getting played. She does not think this so-called love is sincere on either of their parts, but especially Briana. Kailyn has every reason to believe that Briana is more interested in upsetting her than anything else,” a source close to the mother of three told Hollywood Life.

According to the report, Marroquin and DeJesus never had the best of intentions for one another and may have gotten together only due to revenge on their former partners. The insider also said that they were never truly in love.

Javi Marroquin, Kailyn Lowry, Briana DeJesus, their families, and their co-stars including Jenelle Evans, David Eason, Jo Rivera, Vee Torres, Chelsea Houska, Cole DeBoer, Jeremy Calvert, Corey Simms, and Leah Messer are currently in production for the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2.
