The cast for Lifetime's upcoming TV movie based on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's love story has finally been revealed!

Who Is Playing Harry And Meghan?

The film, titled Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story, will star Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan Markle. Fitz-Henley is best known for playing the role of Reva Connors in Marvel's Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Her credits also include NBC's supernatural drama, Midnight, Texas and the Starz drama, The Girlfriend Experience.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry's character will be portrayed by British actor Murray Fraser, known for playing PC Jason Denny on the ITV mini-series The Loch. He also played a small role on PBS' Victoria, starring Jenna Coleman as Queen Victoria.

Lifetime has absolutely nailed it with its casting of Fitz-Henley and Murray as Markle and Harry in the upcoming TV movie. The duo bears a striking resemblance to the characters they will be playing on-screen, as proven by Fitz-Henley's latest Instagram post.

In the caption of the post, which included a screenshot of a news outlet reporting the casting, she said she was "psyched" to finally share the news with her fans and expressed her happiness over sharing screen space with Fraser on the upcoming TV movie.

Lifetime's 'Harry And Meghan' Movie

Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story will document the romantic journey of the royal prince and the American actress right from the time they first met after being introduced by a common friend, their courtship period, the media attention surrounding their love story and Markle's life as a divorced American actress.

A premiere date for the film is not yet known but Lifetime's TV movie based on the relationship between Prince William and Kate Middleton premiered 11 days before the royal wedding.

Considering that Harry and Markle, who announced their engagement in November last year, are set to tie the knot at the St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, the film is expected to debut in early May ahead of their nuptials.

British filmmaker Menhaj Hud, whose credits include The Royals, Queer as Folk, and Coronation Street, will be handling the directing duties for the project. Scarlett Lacey is co-writing the script along with Terrence Coli while Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss serve as executive producers.

Filming for the upcoming movie is expected to begin later this week with Vancouver and Los Angeles among the shooting locations.
