Brittany Cartwright Recalls Her Worst Valentine's Day With Jax Taylor

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are celebrating their third Valentine's Day this year after going through a few rocky months last year.

As fans watch the Vanderpump Rules couple attempt to mend their relationship following Taylor's affair with Faith Stowers in early 2017, Cartwright is celebrating the holiday with her boyfriend and looking back at a memorable celebration from the past.

"My best Valentine's was probably when Jax and I went to Hawaii. I could also count that as one of my worst, because he was there for court," Cartwright revealed to The Daily Dish on Feb. 14.

As fans may recall, Taylor was arrested during filming on a season of Vanderpump Rules years ago after he stole a pair of sunglasses from a store close to where he and his co-stars were staying in Hawaii.

During the show, Taylor's co-stars were seen reacting to news of his arrest as they attempted to figure out how to bail him out. Taylor was then seen returning to Los Angeles as he prepared to face his boss, Lisa Vanderpump, who was quite shocked and disappointed by his behavior.

Taylor and Cartwright also faced other hardships in Hawaii after he informed her that he wasn't on board with getting married. Following his arrest, Taylor and Cartwright enjoyed a dinner date and discussed their future. Then, months after the episode aired, Taylor seemed to have a change of heart and admitted that he was open to the idea of tying the knot at some point.

"Before Brittany I was not about marriage. It was not going to happen for me. I didn't believe in marriage. Not because I didn't love Brittany, I just didn't believe in marriage. It just wasn't for me," he told The Daily Dish. "As time progresses, I'm starting to open my mind about it a little bit more because I do love her and that's something she wants. And I'm willing to bring the idea back."

According to Taylor, he hates divorce and doesn't want to have to go through a split if he were to tie the knot with Cartwright or anyone else. Taylor also said that he simply doesn't want to have to "check that box."
