Emily Ratajkowski knows how to cap off a whirlwind romance, tying the knot with Sebastian Bear-McClard after just a few weeks of seeing each other.

The couple got married in a courthouse in New York on Friday, Feb. 23.

Social Media Announcement

Ratajkowski, 26, made the surprise announcement in a series of Instagram snaps that offered a behind-the-scenes peek at the intimate event.

"So," the Gone Girl actress wrote, dragging out the news in a few snaps. "I have a surprise. I got married today."

Some of Ratajkowski's snaps included images of the few guests who were invited, her pug, and her husband with their brand new wedding bands.

The model also posted a sweet photo with Bear-McClard on her Instagram page with a short yet telling caption of wedding ring emojis and "ny."

No Bells And Whistles

Ratajkowski and producer-actor Bear-McClard opted for a low-key wedding in City Hall, foregoing the lavish affair of the typical celebrity.

A handful of the pair's friends showed up to witness the ceremony, including social media personality The Fat Jewish and actor Josh Safdie. The model's little pug was also on hand.

The fashion darling even bowed out of a fancy white wedding dress. Instead, Ratajkowski wore a mustard-colored suit and trousers from Zara. The entire ensemble costs less than $200.

Her accessories were similarly simple, choosing just a gold necklace and a black wide-brimmed hat with netted veil.

New Couple Alert

The newlyweds haven't been together for long, first spotted together at a New York Knicks game in December, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Just this month, the couple also showed up in Los Angeles for a lunch date.

While Ratajkowski is definitely the more recognizable half of the coupling, Bear-McCard also works in the entertainment industry as a producer and actor. Most recently, he was a producer in the 2017 film Good Time and 2014 film Heaven Knows What. He has a few acting credits under his belt, such as a minor role in the 2006 film The Minority. The film executive is also good friends with Robert Pattinson, who starred in Good Time, often sharing images of the actor on Instagram.

Prior to Bear-McClard, Ratajkowski was in a three-year relationship with music producer Jeff Magid. They lived in Los Angeles together until the model reportedly moved out last year.
