Scheana Marie looked foolish to many on last night's episode of Vanderpump Rules but online, her now-ex-boyfriend Robert Parks-Valletta is defending their relationship.

After Parks-Valletta was seen telling the men of the show that he wasn't going to throw the word "love" around because it was such a big deal, the actor took to his Instagram account and suggested that he did tell Scheana Marie he loved her off camera.

"A lot of people are watching a TV show that was shot months ago, and TV shows are shot to create drama and intrigue," he wrote on Feb. 26. "No one knows what happens behind closed doors and or when the cameras are off. But what I do know is that there are things that I never expressed on camera, but did in person."

During Monday's show, Scheana Marie was confronted about why her then-boyfriend wasn't telling her he loved her and in response, she insisted to Kristen Doute that she and Parks-Valletta were very much in love and noted that he adored her. That said, their relationship came to a quick end in August of last year and they have not gotten back together in the months since.

"The reason I created space in our relationship was because of the world, not the person. [Scheana] and I have cared for and supported each other for 12 years no matter the circumstances or dynamic," he continued. "You’re simply watching a person trying to protect a relationship with another person who was, and is, extremely hesitant to be any part of the [Vanderpump Rules] world."

As Parks-Valletta defended his relationship with Scheana Marie, she faced reports of being "love-struck" and "obsessed." However, according to the longtime reality star, the feelings she felt for her ex-boyfriend were mutual and even now that they've parted ways, she's continued to speak highly of her time with Parks-Valletta and their future reconciliation.

Also on Monday night, Scheana Marie claimed to Doute that she and Parks-Valletta were so serious about their relationship with one another that they had begun to shop for homes and even named their first daughter.
