James Kennedy's Girlfriend Confronts Lala Kent About Flirting On 'Vanderpump Rules'

Lala Kent and James Kennedy enjoyed a short-lived fling years ago and lately, things between them have been a bit awkward on Vanderpump Rules.

During the latest episode of the reality show, Kennedy was seen getting a shower in Big Bear with his now girlfriend, Raquel Leviss, and his former flame, Kent. Right away, fans were left scratching their heads at the odd dynamic between the trio.

“When Lala first got together with her boyfriend and I was still single, I felt obviously a little jealous at the time... I had to find someone and thank God I did,” Kennedy explained during the episode, according to a Feb. 26 report by Us Weekly magazine.

Although Kennedy claimed to be over Kent once he began dating Leviss, Leviss feared otherwise and confronted Kent about “bonding on a whole other level, other than friends” with her man. In response, Kent denied that there was anything more than a friendship between her and Kennedy and insisted she's in a very happy place with boyfriend Randall Emmett.

“It takes a tough b***h to deal with James, and I don’t know that she’s the toughest person,” Kent said during her cast confessional.

Kent proceeded to tell Leviss that nothing would ever happen between her and Kennedy. Then, during a later scene with Kennedy, Kent informed her Vanderpump Rules co-star about what his girlfriend had said to her. She then said that they had been friends for a long time but all he was concerned with was their past interaction. 

“I found you. I discovered you [and] your talent,” he noted.

“If I had been that billionaire successful DJ, she would have come along for the ride,” Kennedy continued in a cast confessional. “Her man was the guy that had all of that … You know Ray J hit it first before Kanye right?”

Two years into her romance with Emmett, Kent is quite serious about the movie producer and has even discussed a future marriage on multiple occasions. As some may have heard, Emmett was married to Ambyr Childers, the mother of his two daughters, throughout the first several months of his relationship with Kent. Then, after their split was finalized, he and Kent began sharing images and video of one another on their social media pages.
